Founder Story
From the show ring to the mahjong table.
“If I were to design an equestrian-themed tile set, I would...”
That thought came to me while I was sitting beside the show ring, waiting for my daughter's round and texting with my mahjong friends back home. We laughed about it at first, but in the days that followed, I couldn't stop thinking about it. I kept coming back to the same question: why not?
So I began sketching. The ideas were rough, personal, and full of heart, and with the help of an incredibly talented artist, those early concepts were transformed into the finished artwork you see today.
This collection brings together two of my greatest loves: the world of horses and the tradition of American Mahjong. The result is an equestrian-themed set unlike anything else on the market.
The response has been so enthusiastic that I decided to make the set available to others as well. To do that, I partnered with a trusted manufacturer in China to bring the collection to life with the quality and detail it deserved.
I also designed a coordinating mat inspired by a competition ring, complete with four horse-and-rider teams, to make the experience feel even more special.
This project has been a joy from beginning to end, and I'm so excited to share it with both the mahjong and equestrian communities. Whether you're a rider, a collector, or simply someone who appreciates beautifully made and distinctive pieces, this collection was created with you in mind.
